What costs can you expect if you choose a park home as your next home?

As the ‘Beast from the East’ Mark II sweeps in, we are thankful for warm homes and somewhere to take refuge from the snow and icy winds.

But if your home is poorly insulated, has draughty windows, is a large property, or has a heating system that has seen better days, it can be alarming to see how much winter bills increase, especially this year as so many of us are working and schooling from home.

Choosing a park home lifestyle can have a very positive impact on the costs of running your home due to the fantastic build quality that our homes have. No matter which style of property you choose, all are wonderfully insulated and have efficient heating systems to keep you warm and toasty whatever the weather is doing outside.

So, just what costs can you expect if you choose a park home as your next home?

As an illustrative cost most of our homes fall within Council Tax Band A or B and this is where most of our residents realise the biggest savings. That said, gas costs between £40 and £60 each month, electricity between £30 and £50 and Water around £15 per month so, depending on the size of home you move from and the lifestyle that you have, considerable savings can also be enjoyed across some, or all, of your utility bills.
