Stamp duty pause mirrors park home rules

Just a few weeks ago, the Consensus Statement on Healthy Ageing was launched and we are delighted to have committed Serenity Parks as a signatory for this game changing vision.
The statement, by Public Health England (PHE) and the Centre for Ageing Better, sets out a shared vision for making England the best place in the world to grow old.
With half of adults in England expected to be aged 50 or over by 2035 it’s certainly a pertinent topic which needs addressing.
Serenity Parks is proud to support the campaign but particularly with regards to Principle 3 – Ensuring good homes and communities. Contained within this is the aim to ‘…improve the quality of our exiting mainstream housing stock and future-proof new homes ensuring they are built to be accessible and adaptable.’
Our homes are aimed specifically at the over 45’s and we have residents in their nineties who are enjoying life in Serenity. Choosing a park home gives residents single storey living in friendly communities and the quality of our homes means there is little maintenance and lower energy bills. We support this wholeheartedly in the very essence of what we do.
Marie Hanby Marketing Manager Serenity Parks commented; “We know that the population of the UK is ageing and it is important that we work together to deliver tangible solutions and results to ensure older years are something that can be enjoyed. We look forward to helping many more people discover the benefits of park home living in the coming years.”
