Leading park home developer adds latest homes
Posted on 14th September 2021
The much publicised and utilised Stamp Duty Holiday, which the UK Government launched to support the housing market during the pandemic, has now ended.
However, whilst purchasers of traditional bricks and mortar homes will now have to dig deep to find those extra pounds for the house moving tax, buyers of park homes can still enjoy keeping that money for themselves as park homes remain exempt.
As house prices in the UK continue to climb, (a further 1.4% in the last month in the SE region) Serenity Parks is supporting its buyers by keeping its five remaining homes at 2019 prices. And, with an estimated 225,000 shortfall in the number of homes for sale, as detailed in July’s House Price Index analysis from Right Move, it is not just our park homes where demand is high.
Choosing a park home lifestyle at Kingsdown Meadow Park, or any other Serenity Parks development, makes great financial sense as prices remain competitive, there is no stamp duty and it is a truly fantastic place to live.
Our team are also there to support prospective buyers with the sales process; helping those who have a home to sell with our assisted sale scheme and guiding others through choosing interiors.
Marie Hanby, Marketing Manager, Serenity Parks commented; “The lack of stamp duty payments attributed to park homes has always made it a very attractive proposition especially for those that are downsizing and consolidating their finances either ahead of, or for retirement.
“In addition to the lack of stamp duty, the prices of our park homes remain incredibly competitive. Add in the fantastic communities, lower maintenance costs, and the reassurance of having friendly neighbours close by, the entire park home lifestyle continues to grow in popularity especially after the last eighteen months as people have re-prioritised what is truly important to them.”View Homes For Sale
