Beaches
A large number of our parks are near the shore or are at least one hour’s drive from it. The beaches of the UK are among the best tourist destinations this nation has to offer, no matter what time of year it is. However, those beaches truly shine during the summer months. Warm weather, thundering waves, fresh sea air, and soft sand between your toes? Simply said, things don’t get much better.
Walks
A walking holiday is the best method to thoroughly explore a place and take in its landscapes. You’ll experience the real world during your stay at one of our parks, which are either located in the countryside or on the coast and are never far from stunning vistas and walks through the countryside, mountains, and villages.
Food
Food and drink play a significant role in the vacation experience. Food stands, home cooking, and experiencing regional specialties are all important aspects of traveling and learning about new cultures. Our parks are always close to the delicious local cuisine that you can enjoy.
Customer Reviews
We’ve stayed at many campsites over the years and Salcombe Regis is by far the best. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they never stop smiling. We originally had to cancel at the last minute earlier in the summer due to our camper breaking down, we called the site and they sorted us out moving the booking with no fuss, they were only too pleased to help us out, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are brilliant and spotlessly clean all day long. We never had to wait once to take a shower in fact the very quaint, prettily painted shower block was empty most of the time. The site is quiet and friendly, the pitches are huge, the whole site feels very spacious. The site is a short walk to the Southwest Coastpath and the beach at Salcombe Mouth is just three quarters of a mile away and like a paradise lost. We’ll definitely return, thanks so much for making us feel so welcome.Phil & Hayley Clarke
